No access on tracking status but didn’t show up in the first place

So a few days ago I ordered a capture card & yesterday evening while I was checking the tracking status, it said no access, that the carrier attempted to deliver my item at 6:40pm. But when I checked my security cameras to check for anybody there, nobody was at my front door at that time, or even earlier than that. Is USPS trying to scam me?

The only way to find out would be for you to contact your local USPS as soon as possible.

I went on their website to see if I can track my package there instead, & they said they would try again to deliver my package the next day. Hopefully the mailman actually comes today, & if they don’t & they said they attempted to deliver it again then I’ll call them

April 12: I shipped a bridal ring set and days later when I checked the tracking, it said the same thing, NO ACCESS. I contacted the buyer who replied that she DID Receive the item on Apr. 14. That Tracking STILL says the same thing today and the sale shows as Not Delivered on my sold page. WTH? I don't understand it, but buyer is happy so I've let it go.

Bottom line: Contact your buyer.

I don’t think in this case it’s the buyer. I think it’s USPS because my item was shipped but the delivery people said they tried to show up at my house but my cameras didn’t get them at the time they said they attempted the delivery
