Need help

i purchased a battery on the 17th of august that i assumed would be shipped to me in less than a week because it is being shipped from my city. i contact the seller a day after the last expected delivery date asking for an update because the tracking number they provided isn't even real. They tell me sometimes packages get lost and that they couldn't give me a tracking number because the battery is shipped in a plain white postage envelope, The seller tells me that the numbers they provided me with are only postage reference numbers. When i open a case with Ebay the seller tells me that they already shipped a 2nd package and again can not provide me with a tracking number because it is shipped in a plain white envelope. So i wait to see if the 2nd package arrives and it never does. When the date comes that i can ask ebay to step in the case gets put on hold because the seller provided a tracking number to them that shows the item has been shipped even though the seller could not provide me with that said tracking number. On the 11th i get an email from the seller saying that they have shipped what is now a third package and gives me a tracking number this time so again the case gets put on hold for a 2nd time. That third tracking number shows a package being shipped internationally, then on the 15th i get another update in my email this time showing that ANOTHER package was shipped. The tracking number shows it was delivered yesterday but i couldn't find it. When i went USPS all they told me was to check with the super( i am the super) and that i should go back to double check. i have video proof that USPS never showed up to my building around the time it was "delivered". Will the seller be able to just show the tracking number and easily win the case?

You need information on where the item was delivered to.  Ask your postal workers about what kind of package it was and where it went. If it wasn't sent to your address it's likely that this is a scam seller and you will need to open an item not as described case. Others should come along soon to tell you how better to handle this type of problem. Good luck.

Does it show that it as delivered to your town and your ZIP code? If not, you need to contact ebay and you should win the case. Otherwise you need to speak with your postmaster to do some investigation and if necessary file a missing item report.
