My shipping tool insists I use a larger box than I want for priority mail small box

Shipping tool just keeps changing the dimension I put in for small priority box to a larger box that I sometimes use for first class. It insists I use the larger box so I can't access small priority box. What's going on? I notice complaints about the new listing tool shipping going back to June. Why can't ebay fix it??

If I remember right, if you're referring to the Priority Flat Rate Small box, you can't specify any package dimension exceeding that, if that's the postage rate you're planning to charge.

I would just select Priority Mail and give approximate box dimensions and weight when creating the listing. You can make final corrections at Shipping time if, for example, using the PFRS box to the buyer's address will save you postage expense over what a weight- and zone-based regular Priority shipment would cost to get to the same place.

You do not enter a dimension if you are using any of the flat rate boxes.
