Manually entering tracking numbers

Hello.. I hope someone can help. Ebay offers the option of manually entering tracking numbers for shipped items and since I've been selling everytime I attempt to enter a tracking number I can only enter 1 digit and an error occurs telling me to enter a valid number. I'm forced to message the buyer's with the tracking number. I've spoken on the phone with an Ebay rep. and they tried to do it and couldn't do it themself. He told me he would report the issue to the proper department. That was 6 months ago and I still can't do it. The option is offered by Ebay... is there anyway to get them to fix it? Thanks for reading, and for any help.

I've never heard of an error like this one. Have you tried typing out the tracking number in a blank document then copy/pasting the number into eBay?

What system and browser are you using??

Might try the old clear out the mess and see if that helps.
