Has anyone ever sent a package through a mailing tube? Do I have to select irregular package or can i choose box or rigid? Its my first time sending an item in a tube so I want to do it right. If select box or rigid its way cheaper however I saw online since its a tube I would have to also select irregular package but some sites say I can leave it at box or rigid, so its pretty confusing.

Choose box and enter it's size and weight as it's a rigid package and is not irregular in shape. Be sure the ends are well secured. They have been known to come off in transit.

A tube isn't an 'irregular' size. You'll mention the width and height of your tube, then the length. Good luck.

USPS website nonrectangular you need the girth measurement. UPS or Fedex rates might be better than USPS.
