Mailed out 4 DVDs Buyer Only Recieved 2 USPS

I had a set of 4 individual anime dvds that I sold together as a set of the complete seires. I shipped them USPS Priority Mail. I got worried when checking on the tracking they were held up for 3 days in San Francisco but eventually they got delivered. Thing is the buy only recieved 2 of the dvds. 3 and 4 arrived but they are missing 1 and 2. All four were in the same package when I shipped them out. Is there a way to find out what happend?

Was it packaged so it could not come apart in transit?  A well taped box or an envelope?  You can call the 800 number on the USPS web site. They can pull up a lot more info and might know if that package damaged in shipping.  You can ask the buyer if it was marked received damaged. However, not all torn boxes get such markings as I have received some ripped open and not marked.
