Listing will require multiple boxes to be shipped, how to?

I want to put some items up for auction together in a lot that will require multiple boxes to be shipped. How do I put that into my listing, is there a way to indicate multiple boxes on one listing?

I hope that my question makes sense. Thanks in advance for any insight.

You can add more then one tracking number once your items sell. You have to manually add the numbers as only the first one purchased will be added automatically.

You may have to purchase the additional shipping labels from somewhere else.

If you can figure the shipping on the additional boxes you can add this cost as a handling fee. You need to do this when you make the listing because you will not be able to do it after the items sell.

If you are trying to break even on the shipping, just know that ebay takes their fee from all monies that is exchanged. A $10 shipping fee from buyer equals $8.74 net to seller.

Yes, it makes sense. I used to sell full sets of china.

There isn't really a way to put up a calculated s/h for multiples. If you are using flat rate boxes (which I recommend if the items will fit and are heavy). Just add the postage cost into your starting or BIN price. If not then calculate the least expensive boxes to zone 8 and add them in and the largest/heaviest box set up the shipping calculator on. Then in your TOS write a note such as "Due to the size of this lot this will be shipped in X number of boxes. I will message you a list of the tracking numbers.

Thank you very much, that sounds like a good idea. I do have one question though, what if the buyer then says they did not receive all of their items? Is that a problem or will the one tracking number entered into ebay be enough to refute this? Provided that the tracking says delivered of course. Sorry, thanks again so much for your help!

Each box will have a tracking number and they all need to be entered for the order.

Have a great day.
