Label printed item sitting idle?

If a label was printed yet a purchased item sits around idle somewhere a week before being handed off to a carrier. Why is this marked as shipped by eBay? Is this not a misrepresentation of the actual truth?

If the listing

- has e.g. a 10-day shipping time,

- the mentioned label was printed immediately, and

- your item shipped in a bundle from overseas with other orders, then

- the waiting label was affixed onto your item as soon as the bundle was unpacked?

Is this a misrepresentation that your item inside the bundle was indeed shipped when the label was printed?

Also may be the item was picked up and not scanned so it is scanned down the lane...hopefully.....

everytime you print ebays label it uses that date as being shipped. It's the way they do it. Totally wrong

but most of what they do is !!!
