Update about previous post if you saw it :
I believe I have exhausted all of my resources at this point trying to make sure this package is going out to my buyer, tuesday 4/30/19 the package should of already been scanned/on the fedex truck. Mail Man picked it up knowing that it was fedex, said he does it all the time next day I saw him. SO usps has been contacted multiple times and had them searched multiple times, fedex opened up a case and talked to local fedex.
No luck anywhere Fedex Decided to close the Case I opened last week and told to put in a claim, so I assume permanently MIA. I have been updating the buyer with me contacting carriers about package/tracking # although never responded to me. DO I wait until I get a response or something to issue a refund ? and how would I issue a refund in a situation like this also with ebay fees for a lost product? The Ebay Estimated Delivery Date is May 7th so maybe he is just waiting for that ?

WAIT until the buyer contacts you. Do not send any more messages. There is always the slim chance the package will be delivered. I've had one or two that never got scanned but arrived at the buyer. If the buyer does contact you after the expected delivery date, refund promptly.

my understanding is an item can ship via fedex (requires dropping at fedex location or fedex pickup) and then be delivered to usps to deliver. to the best of my knowledge usps can NOT pick up or deliver to fedex. hope you find the package

Yeah seems unlikely, but I hope so. I had a fedex scheduled pickup for that day too last time I leave a package in my mailmans reach....I am also wondering why the buyer has not responded to me yet. Do I have to contact ebay or anything for this or is it like a paypal refund and cancel order or something or does the buyer do something on their side?
