Hi, so there is this perfume I have been keeping an eye on, however, it was only available to buy in Japan. Recently, I saw that a seller is selling it here on eBay, but they're located in Japan. I know that perfumes are usually not shipped overseas because they're label as hazard due to their alcohol content. Therefore, if I buy it, is there any way it can get safely to me? Or will it be held by US customs? Also, is there a way the perfume can be send through sea instead of air? (since sea would classify as "ground shipping"). I'm just worry that if I buy it and it doesn't pass inspection I might loss my money.

In all honesty I would really appreciate any advice you could give me. Thank you in advance!

The best answer would be to contact the seller and ask them if they have had any problems shipping to the US.

I'm not certain but I think that Japan may have mail service with some categories by sea. It may take a couple of months though.

One has to think of the time frame. 30 day money back refund. If it goes by the slow boat from Japan.....if something goes wrong...can you get a refund. If is breaks along the way...it gets lost...or its not really the real perfume in the bottle as stated. Can you afford to lose the money. If it's only $10. I would take a chance. Check feedback of seller to see if there were any problems with past sales.

Why would the buyer lose the money? The mbg is 30 days past the estimated delivery date. If the edd is 4 weeks the buyer has to make sure that they open the claim before 30 days after that. If they receive the item later on, they can replay the seller. When a seller sends an item by boar, it is generally them taking the risk, not the buyer.

Do a search on Google. Perhaps there is a shop in the USA that specializes in Japanese products. I live in NY and there is a Chinatown in NY and I can find many products like perfumes and cosmetics in that area. Is the perfume Shesheido or some similar name. If yes, check out Macy's . Years ago, they had cosmetics and perfumes by that company. I don't know if they still do. Goodluck.
