I think Ascendia is out. In last week  or so noticing packages are and saying using Dhl and fedex services. I am tracking these through parcels app online. Ascendia just uses postal services so I think eBay realized they were a nightmare. eBay is a good company and I figured they would get it fixed. Ascendia is too lousy of a player to be in eBay. I still have some stuff traveling with Ascendia which I am now quite concerned about.

what I guess is now going on - Dhl transports package to final destination country and mails it from inside the country. This was used in past by eBay and was not successful since they dropped it. I expect they are negotiating with new companies or old ones. I noticed a two to three week increase in shipping times with Ascendia plus very difficult to track.

Actually, experience has shown that eBay has always used DHL.

Asendia is a service offered by Pirateship. I use them all the time. I have never had a problem, much less a "nightmare". And, yes, they are still using it. For way less money than eBay.
