I selected USPS Priority Mail , but the printed shipping label was for Priority Mail 2-Day

In purchasing a shipping label , I selected USPS Priority Mail costing $11.70.

After the shipping labels were downloaded, my Shipping labels page shows

(Item)  AAAA
(Date) Aug 12, 2021, 10:10pm
(Order #) 11-2222-3333
(Buyer ID / Buyer name) bbbbb   Cccc Dddd
(Shipment details / Cost) USPS Priority Mail  $11.70
(Tracking details: Label created 4444444 <-- tracking number

However, the shipping label printed was Priority Mail 2-Day.
I downloaded  shipping labels three times to make sure that I specified correct input,

and this problem occurred three times.

***

Therefore, I have been using UPS Ground for shipping.
However, When I tried to ship by UPS Ground, The following error message was given:

UPS® Ground

This service cannot deliver to a PO Box. The buyer's address is a PO Box.

Priority Mail 2-Day uses a smaller box and is more expensive.

What can I do?

@toshimimi I think you are confusing things. Priority mail calculated is any box used. Priority mail flat rate is when a specific shipping container must be used, i.e. small flat rate box, flat rate envelope, etc.

It's not about priority 2-day, it is whether it says flat rate, that is the only difference. You just need to scroll down to calculated priority and you'll be fine. However make sure you aren't being charged for all of these labels. You can verify that on your seller payments tab. Worse case you can void any labels that were charged to you since you haven't used them. Best of luck to you....

@toshimimi  USPS Priority prints a calculated estimate on the label 2-day, 4-day, etc. - determined by distance and how many Hubs or POs the package would have to travel through to reach it's destination ...

i've recently seen a disclaimer (eBay or USPS - can't remember) that the 2-day "is only an estimate"

If the cost was $11.70 then that sounds like regular Priority, the cost for Priority Express is much higher.

You are way overthinking this.

Priority Mail is what you bought

"2 day" is simply the estimated delivery time

But it is still Priority Mail

"Priority Mail 2-day" does NOT use a smaller box. It is any box up to one cubic foot.

Any box at all.

I selected USPS Priority Mail , but the printed shipping label was for Priority Mail 2-Day

I went to a post office and asked what is the best way to  ship the item ordered by the buyer.  Then a person at the counter told me that USPS Priority Mail 2-day can be used. Unfortunately,  I had cancelled all of the three Priority Mail 2-day shipping labels.

Therefore, I printed another and I am going to the post office again.

Again, you bought a Priority label. It said 2-day because that's how long it's expected to take to get to your buyer. It has nothing to do with the size or weight of the box, or how it will be shipped. "2-day" is not a class of service. If you had made the exact same sale to someone across the country, it might have said 3-day.

Last time I selected what was at the top of the shipping methods provided by eBay. Then I ended up with  a shipping method using an envelope.

This is my first time to sell something on eBay. Therefore I am encountering many problems.

What I printed was a cancelled  shipping label. However, the post office accepted it, and now tracking is being done by using the tracking number of a cancelled shipping label. The ordered item was shipped at Corvallis Oregon on 08/13/2021 and is expected to be delivered in Utah on 8/16/2021 . The price of a cancelled shipping label will not be refunded if it is used.

The status of a new tracking label, which is not used, is "manifest" whose meaning I do not understand well.

I will cancel this tracking label.
