Once in a while I have a tracking number say 'Delivered' before being delivered. In those cases I have always received the package later that same day...sometimes after 9pm at night! I suspect the USPS has bad days where they are running late or scan the package as delivered by mistake then cant undo the action.
You wont get another tracking number. If nothing arrives by morning, I would ask my postman, the post office and/or file an 'Item Not Received' claim after two days past the status 'Delivered'
I also double check that it's not been left in a planter, behind something, under my mailbox, etc. since sometimes a new postal person places things in the strangest places!
