How to ship dry shampoo

Hi,

Need advise on how to pack and ship dry shampoo via USPS from CA to NY.

Can I use Standard service (USPS First Class Package) instead economy service (USPS Parcel / Retail ground)?

Is there any other information that I should take a note?

Your buyer paid for Standard Shipping (First Class Package), so that's what you use. It's dry, not liquid, and doesn't look particularly fragile, so I would just put it in a ZipLok bag along with its packing slip, and put the whole thing in a padded envelope. A #0 envelope should be all that you need, and total weight will not be more than a few ounces.

I do not agree with Green.

Dry Shampoo is an aerosol. These require a ORM-D label and must ship via ground service.

Packing should protect the can and particularly the top, run some tape across the top of the cap long enough to secure it to the can. Put it in a BOX with Padding.

Yep. Alcohol, highly flammable on the label. Orm-D. Ground only.

Whoops! My bad; sorry. I didn't recognize that it was a small spray can. I saw the "Formulation: Powder" in the listing and assumed that it was something resembling bath talc. Yes, as an aerosol, that's different.
