How do scammers get positive reviews?

So, I recently bought a well-priced camera from eBay. Buy it now; even though the price seemed a little suspicious, I bought it without thinking as the person selling it has "20 items sold" and 100% percent feedback, which seems legit. But now, seeing the profile, it looks like he sells lots of items, but his account is located overseas, and the package I bought from him was shipped from Canada; the package never came, and it looks like it was shipped to another address in a different zip code 10 minutes away. Was I scammed, or was the delivery just wrong? and If I was scammed how did this guy get so many positive reviews?

"How do scammer get positive reviews?"....some buy from me.

Anyone that sells something for 2 bucks on eBay usually gets a positive feedback from a seller immediately.

I had a buyer last week who made a 2 buck purchase and the buyer gave me feedback immediately right after the sale. I notice same buyer bought 13 items from other sellers(all different sellers) and these sellers gave him feedback immediately after their sales and the buyer gave the same exact feedback to all sellers. I kinda knew buyer was looking for quick feedback. I didn't give him feedback yet. I looked up this buyer's address and my standard letter is going "freight forward" to Israel. Some buyers try to get a lot of feedback and then will turn around and start selling. I am not saying everyone does this. But there might be a few out there who do it. Just my thoughts.

You need to get on this right away.  Either the seller put the wrong address on your package, or the delivery service delivered it to the wrong address, accidentally or otherwise.

Contact the delivery service.  Establish which of the things above was what caused the problem.  And then go from there.

For the seller who ordered 20, it means new and most likely your product was sent to the wrong address. I hope you have a wonderful day.

There is nothing wrong with a buyer making a lot of purchases before he starts to sell and it's not against eBay's rules.

We often recommend that a buyer start out that way so he can get a good grip on how eBay works.  There is also the fact that buyers are more likely to purchase from a seller who has at least a little FB history, even if it can be determined that the FB is as a buyer, not as a seller.

A buyer who gives the same FB to all sellers and a seller who gives the same FB to all buyers isn't breaking any rules either.  He just had that feedback programmed to be left automatically.

And now I see that I am addressing an experienced eBayer.  My apologies if you are offended by my words.
