How do I generate an invoice for a buyer?

If the buyer has already paid, you can't send an invoice.

If the purchase was made using the Global Shipping Program, you can't send an invoice.

If the buyer hasn't actually committed to buy / won an auction style listing, you can't send an invoice.

Otherwise, you should see Send Invoice as an option for the sold item.

You should not have to send an invoice, the buyer already has the notice to pay as soon as they buy the item.
