Help - Carrier Pickup Took a Snow Day Can I Drop Off in Lobby?

Hi, I have 3 packages to ship, weighing about a pound or two each. My area received an unprecedented foot of snow today and USPS took a day off so my scheduled pickup was not fulfilled. 

My question is can I go to my post office after hours and drop off these prepaid packages in the lobby? The lobby is open for another 2 and half hours. The packages are too big for the collection bin. Please help I am not sure on the specifics for dropping off packages thank you.

If you leave an unattended package in the lobby it will probably be stolen.  Or do you mean that there's a larger box in the lobby?  It's better if you wait until Tuesday to mail them. (Monday is a postal holiday.)
