Just how would you do that in a category where it is not given as an option to use it????

In a non-eligible category, you might be able to choose that envelope as a shipping option to offer in your listing, but when the item is Sold, you won't be able to purchase that postage for your shipping label.

You can only generate the envelope if the item is in a category that standard envelope it turned on in (it is actually off in multiple categories that should be allowed).

You can attach the shipping to the listing in the wrong category (I have done that multiple times), but it won't let you generate when envelope when it comes time to ship.

Listen to what the others stated. Also, it will NOT generate a lstandard envelopel label if the price is 20.oo or higher.   Do NOT list items in the wrong category. Ebay can shut down those ads especially if they get reported.   Charge the shipping to your buyer.   Some postal rates go up on Jan. 22, 2023.  So you might want to make it a bit higher incase you don't have time to edit your listings.
