I went to the post office and they told me signature is required for Express Mail delivery. Spoken to 3 clerks so far and all confirmed verbally. Ebay told me this too a couple years back. Now Ebay is telling me to find WRITTEN proof somewhere that International Express Mail does require signature for delivery. Australia Postal Services also confirms that signature is required but verbally, which is not acceptable for ebay. Can anyone help me please?

I would think that if a signature was definitely included with that service that they would mention it on the USPS site and I don't see anything about it. It may depend on where the item is being sent and whether a signature is required for the comparable service. For example, I've had regular Priority International packages sent to Canada and the post office required a signature because they processed the package as an Xpresspost package which does require a signature.
But because of Covid, Canada Post doesn't necessarily require signatures where they did before so the same could be true in other countries.
