Having trouble with the new page regarding GSP. I turn it on - turns to blue, but then switches back to white. I called Ebay last night and got nowhere (after more than an hour). They promised to call me back today, but I am not sure if that will happen. I tried everything - from opting out of GSP and then opting back in. Signed off of Ebay and then signed back on. Accepted both forms of international shipping - both GSP and shipping it myself. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this problem - whether its due to the new quirky page that they rolled out yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really like GSP - much less hassle in shipping internationally, but it looks like I can't do it anymore. Help?

The phone reps don't work for eBay.
They work for a sub-contractor in Utah.
Signed off of Ebay and then signed back on. Accepted both forms of international shipping - both GSP and shipping it myself.
So it was a temporary glitch which has solved itself?
Or is this a new glitch?
As a non-US member, hearing that sellers who accept the GSP are also offered the choice of using USPS shipping is exciting.
Many Canadian buyers do NOT like or understand the GSP, which is a Seller Protection, and charges us applicable Canadian duty and taxes as part of our payment.
US sellers can get the same Delivery Confirmation protection to Canada by using the USPS First Class International Package service.

Is it true that a GSP seller can easily switch shipping services and not use the GSP?

hey @femmefan1946! For sellers that ship items internationally there is the option to use GSP or another service and that can be set up through their shipping policies. More information on how that can be done can be found here in our help pages.
