Hi,
I’m pretty new to selling on eBay but I’ve already gotten a taste of the refund experience (terrible for sellers). Today though, I received an order and when I went to create the label it said the shipping address was invalid. Found out it’s due to the address being too long. Also found out this is an address of a freight forwarding company. Now the buyer’s profile says Nigeria while the address to ship to is in CA. The buyer also has only 5 reviews (positive) going about a year back. I need some advice because I’m a little hesitant here and don’t want to encounter a case of fraud or get a return request later and have to take a loss. I have messaged the buyer back to ask him to fix the address to a valid one I can ship to but based on some things I’m reading here, should I be more suspicious that it could be fraud? What should I do? I almost want to cancel the order.

If the buyer doesn't respond in short order with a valid address I would cancel it due to "problem with buyers address". I'm not saying that it's a scam, and your covered against an INR case when it is delivered to the CA address, but what happens if they open another type of return? Are you going to have to pay for return shipping from Nigeria?
I'd go with your gut feeling.
