So I’m trying to sell a lot of my Star Wars collectibles ranging from Funkos to Black Series to Vintage Collection. I’ve never sold anything on eBay, only bought. So this shipping stuff is getting me confused. When listing its giving me the fixed option of shipping between $5.10-5.50. But I don’t even have a box or whatever to ship it in if the Funko I was gonna list as a test sells. I was basically thinking of taking the item to my USPS store and get a free box and have it shipped there and get a label with the QR code thing since I don’t have a printer. But does that label cost me anything? And can I just take the item to the USPS store after it sells and have it packed and shipped there? But what if the shipping is more than, say, $5.10 or whatever? I have no little scale to weight the item. I do have a digital scale for like weighing myself but don’t think it’d really register a small item on it. And I don’t see the point in going out to get all this packaging for the item if it might not even sell. So yeah, I’m a little caught up here. And apparently eBay wants to link my bank account to my eBay account, but what happens exactly? Do they ever withdraw money from my account for something? I don’t like putting my bank info out there. Thought I could just have the money sent to like my PayPal account and (contradicting myself) link my bank account through PayPal and transfer the money through there. I hate asking all these newbie questions, but even watching a few videos they don’t really go over the details I’m asking and already have things like shipping calculated or whatever. But if it is safe to link my bank account on eBay and they don’t like randomly withdraw some fee for selling an item, then I’ll do it. Just want some more info.

eBay can and will take fees from you. They will also withdraw funds if, for example, a buyer claims an item is damaged or not as described and you don't take care of the issue with a return or a refund. The buyer doesn't have to be right or prove anything. All they need to do is file a claim. They're covered by the Money Back Guarantee which falls on sellers' shoulders, not eBay's. There's advice you'll hear a lot: if you cannot afford to lose it, do not sell it online. If that's not something you can live with, then online selling is not for you.
You're thinking of selling collectibles so packing items for shipping will be very important. You'll need appropriately sized boxes and bubble wrap. You'll also need to know the item's weight after it's properly packed so you can charge an appropriate shipping amount.
Funko Pops, unless very valuable, would be best shipped with USPS First Class service. The post office will not pack items for you, and those free boxes they have at the PO are not only the complete wrong size for Funkos, but they require the purchase of more expensive Priority Mail postage. Anything under a pound you'll want to ship First Class.
If you want to give this a go, come back and ask more questions. But be prepared to get a scale and packing materials before you consider listing anything @starwarsfanatic1138.
Your post indicates that you're not comfortable with any of this. If you're not that's fine - there are other options like selling locally for cash. But if you'd like to give it a try and want to learn, we'll help.

Many eBay sellers have found that it's a good idea to have a separate checking account to receive and disburse their eBay funds. There are bank accounts that you can open on line.
