FEDEX local pick up

i had a customer ask to use fedex the other day. why the customer needed fedex is a whole other story. so i packed and printed a label. i click on setup pickup. it went to fed ex website, i entered my account info. for some reason when i went to ad info there was a error with a phone number. so i called the number and tried to set up pick up for the package thru the phone. it got another error and sent me to a live person. person was so rude. they said reason why my package was getting a error was it does not qualify. so i was like what do i need to do to qualify. he told me stop making mistakes and pay for the service its not free.  that fine what do i need to pay. he was like to late for that you screwed it all up. i cant believe how this guy is talking to me. i asked to speak to manager to figure out how i can set this up. i honest wanted to switch to fedex anyway as my local usps guy is horrible. caught him on video trashing my stuff. now he pulls the **bleep** he wont go up my driveway cause its dirt. usps no longer has to go up dirt driveways. my driveway is huge with a turn around and there are tons of dirt roads and driveways all over the area. i live in New Hampshire. back to fedex.  so back to the manager, guy says no manager or supervisor is in today. come on it's fedex. guy send me to the main menu. i emailed fred smith personally. i am a shareholder and have his email on hand.

my question after all that bickering is who ships fedex and do you get it picked up. and how what and why on how it works. any info at all. do i need to purchase thru fedex to receive pick up.

i also have ups come to my house 3 times a week mon weds fri its like 15.50 A week. i wanted to give fedex a try as they do the best job delivering to my house and this guy wanted fedex so now was the best time to figure it all out. so the closest fed ex to me is 30 mins drive 1hr round trip. only be there customer if they pick up. USPS AND UPS are both 5 mins and across the street from each other. fedex is often cheaper i noticed when checking out. so if i could save me and my customers some $$$$$ i think that be great but what a horror show so far.

@postingid7659  Not a good idea. That would be encouraging OP to commit a felony in their state. Besides, OP would need consent to do so before they record (NH is a 2 party consent state)

New Hampshire law provides that it is illegal to record an in-person or telephone conversation without the consent of all parties. However, the New Hampshire Supreme Court has held that a party essentially consented to a recording when the overall circumstances demonstrated that they knew they were being recorded. Illegal recording is a felony unless the person recording was a party to the conversation or had the consent of a party, in which case it is a misdemeanor. Violators may also be subject to civil liability.

NH Rev Stat § 570-A:2 (definition & penalty), § 570-A:11 (civil damages), New Hampshire v. Locke, 761 A.2d 376 (N.H. 1999)

@incrediblefinds199

I entered my account info. for some reason when I went to add the info there was a error with a phone number.

What exactly did the error say?

They said the reason why my package was getting a error was it does not qualify. so I asked what do I need to do to qualify. he told me stop making mistakes and pay for the service its not free.

I doubt he would be that rude, but moving along, yes the service is a paid service. I believe it is 4 dollars plus a "Quote" (I would assume hold time, package size and weight, etc..)

My question after all that bickering is who ships FedEx and do you get it picked up. and how what and why on how it works. any info at all. do I need to purchase thru FedEx to receive pick up?

I found this article on setting up a pickup through FedEx. I have never used the services or shipping company, as I use USPS.

https://www.fedex.com/en-us/shipping/schedule-manage-pickups/how-to.html

FedEx is often cheaper I noticed when checking out. so if I could save me and my customers some $$$$$

When it comes to USPS and FedEx. I notice that USPS has better rates for lighter items shipped, while FedEx has better rates for larger items, same goes for USPS. You also do have the option of choosing what shipping provider to use, but you may pay a difference if you do. For example lets say a buyer chose FedEx 10 dollar shipping, and you want to do 20 dollar UPS shipping (Just an example here) you would need to pay the difference out of pocket.

You also do have the option of choosing what shipping services you use for your listing

did ya read it all i shipped fedex cause a customer asked to ship fedex, i talked to the ceo via email this morning and they are going to review the call. and yes for real the guy on phones actual words, he had many more that i did not put down, he got rude with me so i got straight forward and he did not like that. i asked for his name and a manager and he transferred me to the main line. he said no manger or super around and instant transfer to no one. this guy was as rude as you can get without using profanity. constantly used the words my fault.

it was a error saying there was a error in completing this form please call the 1800 number listed in the notice, it was the 1800 GO FEDEX number.

*yawn* I didn't say to actually do it, sparky, I said say you're going to do it and see if the guy's tune changes.

Between this and misreading the 2020 year in the other post you're doing real good tonight.

Apparently he was trying to tell you to 1-800-GO-FEDEX-yourself.  I hope something comes of your complaint.
