What is the value of eBay protection? Zero.
The announced seller protections cover negative feed back only if the case devolved into an item not received case that was not resolved by the seller and when the item was subsequently delivered.
So if I did nothing to get the buyer their item or mollify a complaint before or AFTER I get negative FB, I could have had the FB removed.
But because the FB was left before the EDD, and I then did a missing mail search that lead to the item being delivered, and had been in daily apologizing contact with the buyer so they wouldn't file an INR, the negative feedback is not eligible for removal.
So says eBay! When they declined my request for FB removal.
Stupid eBay. Stupid me for going ahead with MP today when I was so close to quitting. Stupid, stupid.
Thanks for absolutely nothing. You are the worst.

They should remove that in my opinion. It is very clear the buyer is complaining about a late package. This is not a NAD complaint but an INR bad feedback.
Procedure should be checking you got an Acceptance scan within the handling window. If you do that, then you shipped on-time. Provided you also shipped the correct method I.e. did not downgrade, eBay should remove it.
Reach out to eBay for business folks say
I am also disgusted a buyer can possibly leave feedback negative for a late item before the Estimated Delivery Date. That’s Poppycock
