We've been using GSP for as long as it's been available, in conjunction with business policies - and the GSP program has been basically error free for us. We've been rolled over into the new EIS program, but we have customers saying that now our items cannot be shipped to the UK. Here is a sample item # 374288091316. This does not appear to violate any of the size rules, etc. as far as we can tell. It does use a business policy for shipping. Can anyone assist and help us to understand what we might be doing wrong or if, in fact, this is simply an Ebay issue? Thanks in advance.

No prob. I have a buddy that could never remember how to calculate girth so I gave him a visual. Told him to picture wrapping a tape measure all the way around the package. That clicked with him so now he knows it's twice the width, twice the height added together. Then when determining sum of length + girth all you have to do is add the length in. 👍

Wow. that actually DOES help. Thanks for the visualization!

There is no fix, as what has happened is that each country has its own set of laws and restrictions to "Protect" their citizens against what may or may not be permitted to own. Throw in any type of item that may contain hazardous materials...like lithium batteries exploding on an aircraft in flight, or any petroleum based product that emits any type of gasses or fumes etc..(example a used greasy vehicle engine part) while some of it does make good common sense, I am sure other reasons border on insanity...and just like taxes they are subject to change at a moments notice if one country decides to enact a new or change an existing law or restriction...so while Global Shipping Program GPS got away with what we were used to in 90% of the cases...that is done, Sadly in my opinion these new changes will become more and more difficult to overcome from a logistical stand point, and sellers will be the ones affected the most, as ebay will shield itself against becoming liable for issues a item may or may not cause.
While we the sellers in the US are pretty much used to being able to buy and sell things without many of the restrictions, other countries do not have all the freedoms we enjoy....with them being subjected to being under the thumb their governmental rules and restrictions...
