Double Refund?

I currently refunded a payment to a buyer over on PayPal. However, I also refunded the payment on eBay. 

Will I be sending a double refund from my account?

It sure seems that way ... you might kindly inform your buyer of the mistake, and ask them to return one of the refunds.

When you refunded on PayPal did you go into that transaction to do the refund.?   If you did, I can’t see ebay refunding as well because the transaction would already show as having been refunded....but I’m just guessing.  What does your PP account say?

If you refunded the buyer by going into the payment on Paypal and using the ISSUE A REFUND option, and then you used the CANCEL A TRANSACTION on ebay, you will not be refunding twice.

In the future, go into your ORDERS, locate the transaction, and use the CANCEL A TRANSACTION option and the refund to the buyer will be automatic.

If you refunded through the original PP transaction and then went to cancel (/refund) though eBay, they would go back to the transaction to refund it, and since there is no monies, they can't double refund.
