Does Ebay update the expected delivery date based on updated tracking?

I too am having the same issue that many are having with USPS shipping delays. I’m shipping out of Nashville. Orders shipped between Dec 1 -3 are “stuck” yet orders after that are already delivered. So much for first in - first out. 

I am new to ebay. This is my first holiday season and now I have my first INR claim and expecting a few more at this rate. Shipment scanned Dec 1 with expected delivery Dec 5 (priority). Stuck in Nash Vegas. Not sure what to do from here.

You may want to change your shipping method to Economy or Standard with 2-3 days handling. That will add 3 - 5 extra days to the estimated delivery date. You can mention that you will ship priority in your description.

And no, eBay doesn't update the EDD based on in-route tracking. Unless of course it's Guaranteed delivery and they stand to lose $5.00. Then they'll update it based on tracking.
