Give me a break, a shipping business closed on Saturdays???
Usps tracking
Had I known or relaized I would have cancelled transaction as something is wrong with the buyers address. Will do so in all future freight forwarders to Delaware.

Fine, good luck dealing with the defects for non-performance.

I just do not understand what is your concern with Freight Forwarders?
Seems to be a response that is not based on facts or understanding.
If you'd like to understand how **bleep** can be a great profit center, let us know.

I love freight forwarders and actually started to give free shipping in California in response to them.
all the reshipping moved up to Oregon now.
Deleware is right down the road from me on I95
I happen to like Deleware since I live in the Delaware valley in PA
I wish people would stop making a distinction between freight forwarders................they are all good

Once I learned about the wonders of international freight forwarding I stopped fretting about the scammy complaints I used to get.
Simple. Once they forward the item from Delaware (Miami, California, and a slew of others), they lose all buyer protection through eBay. If they get it damaged, defective, or whatever, if you can demonstrate to eBay that the address they used is a freight forwarder, the buyer is SOL.
Not real sure what @toysaver is worried about with the business being closed on Saturday (that Delaware one is always closed on Saturdays, and it just gets redelivered on Monday)

What happened?
The tracking shows attempted delivery 11 days ago but no tracking updates?

Freight forwarder buyers are a royal pain in the ass. They cause 90% of your customer service problems.
If a seller chooses to ship USA only they are excluding 95% of the worlds population there is a reason for this.
Ebay freight forwarder buyers are like people who rent cars from Hertz (USA only), then drive the car into Mexico and something happens to the car in Mexico and then "Hertz cheated them"

Well that example from Hertz-Mexico is an issue. But it does not apply to Freight Forwarders.
Have you had a bad experience with **bleep**? I hate to say, it looks like the reply is indicative of a misunderstanding of how things work.
Point is that once tracking shows 'delivered' to a FF the seller is done! Once the package is forwarded the buyer loses MBG protections for INAD, SNAD or damaged in shipping. Even IF eBay requires a return/refund the seller is only required to issue a return label from the USA address from where it was reshipped. Seller has no responsibility for the international portion of shipping. So at worst, it is no different than a domestic return!
Plus this 'extra cost' to get the package from the international location to the USA FF is usually enough cost that it is a deterrent for returns. Buyers make sure they want what they order and that it fits their needs as they recognize the return costs are prohibitive. So unlike many USA sellers who just look at the pictures, my guess if buyers using a FF are more careful in their selections.
But anyone sitting overseas that buys your item and pays the extra fare for a FF plus import fees, etc must really want the item and must have the money to pay for it! Why would you want to exclude buyers like that.
Oh I get that there are plenty of people that are jingoistic and fearful of others, but from a business stand point anyone with money is a good buyer. So no one can stop any seller from being fearful or uninformed and not selling to those using **bleep**, but from a business perspective such limits are unwise.

Shipped many an item to a FF. Have never(knock on wood) had an issue.
My items are not a good fit for the added expenses involved with the GSP, so a FF is a great option for these buyers.

That is a good question. For my packages I only ever received at most, one attempted delivery. A notice to pick up item at Post Office is left, but not a second delivery attempt.
Since this business is closed on Saturday's, I wonder if they requested a redelivery? If not maybe the seller should request it on their behalf.

I got my first freight-forwarding purchase today. The buyer has been doing this for 5 years.
If the item is arrived broken (in Russia) what happens then?
The freight-forwarding company does not open/inspect the package before they ship it to wherever it goes, do they?

Do not know how many of them do it but some do to repackage into a smaller package.
Check out this video in this link if it still works.

Depends entirely on the company. The one I use to purchase from stores in Japan always opens and inspects everything before they pack it up to send to me.
