DHL & USPS Shipping

Can someone please help me? I ordered some ram from Newegg on here, shipping was free and it was supposed to be here today. Well it isn't here, I checked DHL Website and it said TENDERED TO DELIVERY SERVICE PROVIDER and when I check USPS it said it is still awaiting the item. The last time the item was scan on DHL it was in Forest Park, GA, US. It passed through my state of Kentuck, it was scanned in HEBRON, KY 41048 Jan 8 but now, Jan 9, it is in Forest Park, GA. Can someone please tell me if this is normal or anything?!

Not the rule but certainly not abnormal. A buyer who is an hour away from us by car and I, tracked her pkg. while it toured a couple of states before ever getting to her.

Today I will not judge.

Remember one thing all delivery  dates are ESTIMATED.  Even the USPS Express Mail service - the only thing that is  guaranteed is they will refund the postage  cost if they  do not delivery within 24 hours (business day basis) and the package is put in the  hands of the USPS post office (not the route  carrier or blue  drop box) by  a certain time.   USPS does not  consider thing late fro about  2 weeks  after the ESTIMATE delivery time.  Don't know about DHL.

If this is a DHL to USPS hand off, such mailing are placed in a trailer until enough of these handoff accumulates, then it gets taken and delivered by the post office.

It isn't that your item is being delayed, these type of handoff just don't get handled the same way regular USPS shipping does.  It is much slower and I wonder sometimes why the item wasn't just taken to USPS to begin with.  A lot of booksellers use this DHL service, too.  The "traveling" shipping pattern is unfortunately normal.  Seen a lot of it myself this season.

By contrast, if I select DHL for shipping from overseas, the tracking stays up to date and my things arrive with amazing speed.  Of course, that's also when the rates are extremely expensive so I don't do it often.

You'l  get your RAM, the wait is frustrating but it'll show up.  I've noticed that USPS tracking isn't updating as it used to either.  I have two packages that have been in "in transit to next facility" for days.  No reason given and the daily emails aren't showing up either.

You're not alone and you have my sympathy!  Be patient.
