Combined shipping question

Hi

How can I offer shipping discounts on different items? I only sell from time to time, don't have an EBay store.

So:

if I sell item 1 and I have 5 of them I can offer discount shipping for second or third, etc.

If I am selling item 2 and I have 3 of them I can do the same. So far no problem.

What if I want to offer discount if person is buying ONE item 1 AND ONE item 2. I want to be able to give shipping discount in that situation too (all my items are similar). But I am stuck, I don't see how to do that. 

I found and article but I don't see on myEbay the link I need to go to. 

Can someone help?

You should be able to set up shipping discounts in your eBay account settings, which will apply no matter what items they purchase.  Alternatively, if you don't have Immediate Payment required, you can send an invoice with a manual discount applied before they pay.
