I decided not to return the Handmade Newborn Sleeping Baby Girl Silicone Doll due to the fact that it cost more to send the doll back, than it did to purchase it. The cost of the doll itself was $82.00 with free shipping where as, to return the item would have cost me at the $210.00.
Unfortunately, the little girl that it was purchased for was uncomfortable with the doll and it scared her. It's even more unfortunate, that I will lose more trying to return it.

I don't blame the little girl. Those dolls scare me too.
The reason the seller could ship it free is because the Chinese government subsidizes postage for those sellers. The U.S. government does not. That is the risk buying things from China. If you want to return it, it will cost you.

So why not sell the doll? When buying internationally, one should always confisder the cost of returning the item if the purchase doesn't work out. You can buy those dolls here in the US too.

I would have to agree with Jen and the others that it would probably be a good idea to re-sell it yourself.
