Can I buy a new shipping label?

I sold an item an shipped it to the buyer.  At the buyers end the package was mistakenly declined and was sent back to me as "return to sender".  The buyer apologized for the error and wants me to ship it back to him.  Is there a way to buy a new shipping label for a "completed" sale?

Not on eBay, shipping labels must be tied to a transaction. You may be able to purchase just a shipping label on PayPal but that's not a good idea. Your transaction is now done as far as eBay is concerned. If you want to sell the same item to the same buyer, then create a whole new listing so that you'll be covered. Buyer will already be out some money here so they can turn around and do a credit card chargeback for the item when you send it a second time using another label. You should treat this as a new transaction, having nothing to do with the original one. Just refund the buyer for the sale amount on the first transaction before proceeding with anything else. Always keep your selling account in mind. Best of luck to you....

I have done that by going to the sold item, and using the drop down.

It has allowed me to purchase another label.

I tried the items drop down menu and saw no choice to buy another label.

Odd !!  I go to see all orders in the seller hub.

You only have that option because the transaction is less then 90 days ago, after 90 days eBay sees the transaction, business as completed. The option goes away. Can I buy a new shipping label? Yes, but only if it's less then 90 days ago.
