Hello guys,

Please help me with that issue.

I sold to the US one set of USED vehicle car wheels (only rims). Buyer recieved them and then began to resent about cosmetic condition. All that cosmetic imperfections were visible in acuction photos. Also he judjing me that i wanted to hide from him defect. In my desctiption i wrote that you can ask me to do more photos. Anyway, in my description and policy were noted about condition and NO RETURNS back to my country because it's impossible. Our country dont accept used car parts. We can export them worldwide, but import is imposible.
Overall, he opened return request. I wrote to him that it's impossible to do that, but he wanting how he wanting. I tried to find ask ebay to step in, but i dont find how to do it.

Unless you used at least 8 good clear close up photos, 2 for each rim front and back, and described each rim separately noting all flaws, you will have to respond to the dispute and ask eBay to provide a return shipping label, so the buyer can return them.

You get 12 photos to use for each listing, which is usually more than enough unless an item has many components.

If Moldova, does not allow the importating of used auto parts, which I have trouble believing, then do not list used car parts for sale outside of your country. Besides you are not buying parts from outside of Moldova, parts are being returned to you.

Your no return policy does not matter for item not as described disputes. eBay's Money Back Guarantee gives buyers 30 days from the date items are received, to ship items back.

@mudshark61369 The OP cannot respond and have ask eBay to issue a shipping label. It’s an international transaction so he won’t be given that option. He has to accept the return and choose “I am unable to prove a shipping label” and then if he wants the rims back he has to send the buyer the funds through PayPal and give eBay the transaction ID.

Explain the legal issue to your buyer. Provide a link to your Government site with the restrictions if possible. Suggest the buyer list them for sale and that he may get more than he paid for them.

I already sold about 3 sets to US (used rims) and deals were perfect, buyers also leave positive feedback on ebay. Photos were the in same racurs and description policy were the same. All were happy!

I only have problem with this buyer who want return because of these cosmetic condition.

Let's see what ebay talking about used items:

"An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections."

1. COSMETIC condition was seen on the auction photos. Cosmetic were can be like, scratches, dents, curbing and etc.... RIMS WAS USED, NOT NEW!

2. Rims are fully operational and functions as intended.

3. "See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections". I wrote in my add all information, about more detailed photos, about no return, about contact information.

About used car parts it true, i don't see any point to lie. Many countries have that law. Anyway i wrote about NO RETURNS, what you see this you will get.

It’s probably not a good idea to sell items that can’t legally be returned to you. eBay is not going to deny the buyer a return because you sold something that can’t be legally sent back to you. There are consumer protection laws that allow buyers to get their money back. Your laws don’t supersede the las that protect the buyer.

I even didnt thought that someone can ask return item back for cosmetic condition, what were showed on the auction photos. If you dont like it, dont buy it.
Aslo he knowed that they are located outside US.

So you want to say, ebay will be on buyer side in this situation?

OP, sorry this happened. I hope that you had all the scratches etc listed in the description, in words. You state you had all info, and see pictures so it is not clear if you actually stated that there are significant scratches and dents, curbing whatever, and you didn't just say rims are used, see pictures. Because see pictures should only be said to back up exactly what you state in the listing, and not as a description of condition as things may be missed in pictures. That is why you have write out exactly what the damage is.

So sorry but if you cannot import them back to you as a return, then you will have to refund without a return. Hopefully your buyer will go for your suggestion to list them and sell them here.

Edit: Checked listings and saw a VOLK listing that I think might be it. You said in good condition but of course has some scratches. Maybe the buyer expected more of a description? I can't see scratches in the picture.

Omg this situation make my crazy.

Refund for what?! For cosmetic scratches what didnt saw buyer in the auction. They are seen on photos! Scratches , dents, curbin is also a cosmetic imperfection. There are no damages, no cracks. OMG, IT'S USED RIMS, NOT NEW 😞 Rims are fully workable. Install tyres and have fun with them. I made all the terms of the deal.

I think buyer dont like them in real life and want return them back. Scraces, "dents" is only reason to do that. Anyway they were seen on the photos 😞

It's only assumption about buyer solution.

ps. sorry for my english.

I think i will never have a deal on ebay with (used) items. Never thought that can be so hard.

Your English is fine, no worries. Sorry this happened to you. I see very few scracthes in your pictures, and as you say, they are used. I thought they looked good.

Very bad news!

Buyer opened the case and ebay on his side 😞

Now the problem how send them back.

I payed 350$ to send rims to US via USPS. Buyer telling me that i must send to him 1035$ for delivery via DHL. Customer support told him not use USPS, bacause they dont provide track code. But they provide it like you know.

Guys sims like someone want to deceive me and keep the goods.

I cant pay 1035$ for delivery rims back. It's crazy. If i dont pay that price untill 18 aprill, like i understood rims will stay with buyer + paypal will takes money from the deal.

In general, i will stay with out rims and money 😞

Can someone help please????
