Buyer returned damaged item

Hi everyone. Had a buyer purchase a computer from me and then return it because of a change of mind. I got it back today and it's damaged. The front cover has a chunk missing and the case is cracked. I reported this through ebay and uploaded pictures and then was given the chance to deduct from the refund. I only took $15 and now the buyer is complaining. He claims it arrived that way but he didn't think it was a problem so never said anything. What I'm wondering is how will this play out? If he complains enough will ebay step in and give him the rest of his money? Will he be able to leave me negative feedback for this? Thanks.

Yes, when it asks eBay to step in, no defect. No, no less-than-positive feedback.

Were you able to buy 5 more labels the next day.

Hi there. I wasn't able to purchase anymore labels through eBay. Ebay customer service got back to me and confirmed it was not possible. Said they are limited by the carrier. I purchased the remaining labels through another program I have. (shipstation) Thanks for replying!👍

The whole 5 label limit is a lie on eBay part for whatever it is worth, unless it is some strange contract thing. Been bugging them about that for years. Granted they never mentioned it being "limited by the carrier" in my cases.

file a complaint with the BBB on ebay. I did this years ago against paypal when a buyer returned a damaged item. he claimed he received it that way but used it anyway. paypal gave me my money back as they agreed buyer should of said something about it arriving damaged so I could make a claim with the PO.
