I sold a book and right after I printed the label the buyer sent a message "this is a hardback right?" I immediately replied that it is a paperback and pointed out this is clearly stated in both the title and the description. I told them the label was printed and the book packed and ready to go and asked them to please let me know if they wanted me to mail it or not as there is a time limit on voiding a shipping label. They have not replied. I don't know whether to just cancel or go ahead and mail the book. I don't want to end up with negative feedback over this or a mark against me for shipping late. Also, the book is not in great shape, and this is very clearly described in the description, so I'm worried if they missed that it was a paperback what else might they have missed.

You can send 1 more message and if no reply then ship it out. I would print a copy of the listing, highlight condition & that it's a paperback and include it in the package.

At this point simply ship it. Buyer paid and if you cancel, this will affect you more than return with a negative FB . You have no control over buyer's inability to read detailed description.

Maybe she is hoping you will just cancel her order if she doesn't respond since she obviously didn't read anything about your listing. The time for a buyer to ask questions if before they purchase an item and pay. For me if I sell an item on sunday I have until monday at midnight to get that package scanned in or else I get dinged. If I were in your shoes I would wait until the latest possible time to mail my package (about 5pm for me) to see if buyer responds. If no response I would just mail it. I've read on this forum about this happening and buyer never responds leaving the seller in limbo which is not a good place to be on ebay.
Hope this helps!
