I sold a pair of wireless microphones. I said right in the listing that I didn't have the receiver. Buyer even sent me a message asking if the receiver was included. I told them it wasn't. They ordered the item and then promptly returned it because "not working, no receiver"
well, yeah....isn't that exactly what I said. You'll need to provide your own receiver.
So I open a seller case and it gets closed in favor of the buyer.
Apparently, you can order something knowing full well that something isn't included, return it and force the seller to pay for shipping both ways. Totally unfair.

If the receiver comes with the headphones and you listed them as new or used then technically it is considered SNAD even if you stated the receiver wasn’t included. Ebays definition of used is “fully operational and functions as intended”. Probably should have used the item condition “for parts or not working” since the headphones don’t work without the receiver.

These are professional grade microphones. People drop mics or otherwise get damaged. Think of them sort of like a replacement remote for a TV. You don't order the remote and expect the TV to be included.

That's an easy win on appeal but you will need to do it by phone. Never let a bot do the work.
This is absolutely not a case of using the wrong condition.

I have never won an appeal. . . waste of time. Ebay will never side with a seller regardless of how dishonest the buyer is.

To quit, to give up is to fail
