Bulk Shipping Tool - Three sets of labels automatically generated and charged three times

We ship multiple packages everyday. A few days ago I had realized I had three identical charges for shipping the previous day. The charges are shown completed 15 seconds within one another. I use the bulk shipping tool on the sellers webpage to do all of our shipping. All I can think of there had to be some bug with the bulk shipping tool when I clicked to purchase the labels?

 

At this point we are out over $120 for mysterious labels that I didn't purchase. Each shipped item does show the three tracking numbers and a confused customer service associate explained to me it looks like I purposefully purchased three sets. However I did point out they are shown all with timestamps within 15 seconds of one another and this was a technical error with the bulk shipping tool.

 

I've called Ebay customer service for help twice last week and have yet to see a refund. Has anyone else experienced this issue and had a positive resolution from Ebay? I have this sinking feeling I won't see a refund for these.

There IS a bug in the bulk shipping tool that sometimes creates multiple labels for your batch. Three times in the past 3-4 weeks, eBay has created 2 labels for each shipment in the batch. It took hours to straighten out the first time, but when I got to someone knowledgeable about it, they went through and voided out the duplicate labels ($100 of dollars) and put through immediate refunds so I didn't have to wait 3 weeks. The key is making sure they void out the correct labels (not the ones you used).

 

The only way I realized it happened is when I printed my scan form and it had double the number of packages on it. In the past, I really haven't paid much attention to that, but I do now.

 

You need to request a call back and ask to be put through to someone on the shipping team. I'm sorry I don't have a ticket # to give you, but you can ask them to look up the bug ticket for my user ID and ask to be put on it if your situation is the same as mine.
