So, first, sorry if this has been posted already but for those who don't know, FedEx Economy are NOT insured even though eBay shows them as insured. They are only insured while they in FedEx hands and since they instantly hand them off to USPS, you have no insurance when its lots or damaged. Learning this the painful way.
Also, if you're not getting updates, add a 92 to the beginning of your FedEx tracking number and then you can accurately track it on USPS.

Yet you're relying on USPS for the final leg of the journey...your logic doesn't make sense.

Even more reason to use Ground Advantage in addition to the fact that FedEx uses contractors for their ground services.

If you are talking about switching to a 100% FedEx service, keep in mind that you will be unable to service your PO Box customers this way.

No, I'm stuck relying on USPS either way but at least when shipped through USPS I have insurance (mostly useless anyway)

No, I'll only use USPS or FedEX is its 100% FedEX

Was it going to a PO Box @banana*shoe*boutique ? I'm pretty sure Ground Economy is only transferred to USPS for PO Boxes and the rest FedEx handles through delivery.

No, it was going to a residence. All fedex ground economy have scans for both fedex and USPS. They’re always handled this way. At least they are in my city.
