At which point does the PB tracking number gets created

I've purchased an item and it is going to be shipped via the GSP.  I have the UPAAB tracking number but unfortunately there hasn't been any updates other than "tracking number provided" for a week.  How does one know the seller has sent the item to Kentucky?  Does paying the shipping label creates the PB tracking number?

I have purchased more than 50 items shipped via the GSP over the past years and this is the first time I'm seeing this.

In my experience, the PB tracking number is created when the package is being processed at the shipping depot, so it can take a few days after it was delivered there before the new tracking number is provided.

I just shipped one a couple days ago. I thought that the Usps and the UPA numbers were both provided when I printed the shipping label.

I would contact your seller if there aren’t any updates yet.
