I've been trying to use other carriers where practical (think: $15 to ship a 1# $10 item isn't practical so it goes Priority). Still, USPS was losing or delaying some of the limited number of packages. It seemed to get better a few months ago so I started using them a little more, and now I've got a couple more missing packages. Just checking to see if anyone else is still having issues. I had an incident a few years ago where someone at the local branch was targeting my packages and destroying them, so I switched to the nearby mailbox store and hadn't had any problems. Just trying to figure out if I need to consider taking them to yet another branch or if maybe the PO just hasn't gotten their act together yet. Haven't heard much on the news.

Terrible service in different parts of the country. I have filed 8 missing package claims with USPS, and seems when I do days later they are out for delivery..strange?? I use UPS for many larger/heavier packages as they are much cheaper than USPS. Fedex charges fuel and location surcharges after the fact so I stay away from them. USPS has become unreliable in some locations, and in others deliveries on time.

I use the USPS exclusively - first class and media mail. I can't recall a single USPS issue in the last 500 transactions at least.

It's so bad it makes me question my own sanity wondering if I actually shipped (as in put them out for pickup after printing the label lol), just this week I had two packages of the same kind go missing, didn't even make it out of the city... Same exact items too, different buyer, different addresses but what the...?

My big problem with the USPS is ever since the last couple months, tracking has not been updating on an item when shipped. Tracking updates the first two days and then it doesn't update until it is actually physically delivered. This is **bleep**. If they're not going to actually track it all the way through then they should get rid of tracking all together. The USPS laziness knows no bounds.

Spotty problems.
My carriers, and local offices are great at doing their job. Everything gets a scan.
Right now PR is my big problem.
Package went from Catano facility to San Juan when it should have gone South instead of North. Now departed San Juan never to be seen again. 18 minute drive from 1 location to the next.
Another left the Catano facility days ago, and has not arrived at the Post Office less than 5 miles away from there.
I have suspended all sales to PR. $100 + in merchandise just vanished..........
Follow that up with an "instate" 2-day Priority package that is on day 5. Took 3 days to get to the regional facility that handles Priority.
Then there is a little 1st Class package that never scanned at the regional facility after departing the Post Office. Everything else that was in the same sack got a scan.
I suspect that the sack did not get elbowed, and that little bubble mailer is taking a nap in the "empty equipment" storage area. Someone will use that sack again someday, but in the meantime I sent the buyer a refund. Not much money, but out the item, and the postage.

I bought an item April 26th, and the seller shipped April 27th USPS FIRST CLASS. First USPS shipped it North instead of South, and once a missing package claim was filed item reshipped South. Package arrived in Memphis, TN on May 5th..just got it today May 17th. I really think USPS has become undependable, and service has NOT gotten any better since Covid than we had the ice age in February. Tell all your buyers about the delays, and try a follow-up with USPS using MISSING PACKAGE CLAIM service. USPS does seem to follow-up or at least my items that were lost miraculously get delivered!

Haven't had a problem since the Christmas chaos, aside from one First Class package bound for Montana that took almost a week to get there... but IME anything mailed to Montana has always been slow, even pre-COVID. I shipped two on Friday, one First Class and one Priority, and both were delivered today.
