A Missing Item

I ordered a Nintendo Switch bundle through a seller, which has been signed for by Royal Mail. I checked the Royal Mail tracking, which states that the item has been delivered, to another post office. When I check the 'Pitney Bowes Tracking', I am told that the item has been 'Shipped by the retailer', but not yet 'processed at the global shipping center.' I have two packages coming, and both say the same thing.

Who is at fault here? I've tried using the Ebay chat help service, which advised me to ask for a refund. I've contacted the Shipping company, Pitney Bowes, who also advise me to contact the seller to ask when they've shipped the item. Finally, I contacted the seller, but the item has been signed for, which should mean that it is out of his hands?

If any of you have had any previous experiences with a situation like this, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

A Missing Item

If the item's delivery date is past due, then you have two options:

  1. You can file an "Item Not Received" claim, as suggested by eBay customer service.
  2. You can wait to see if it breaks free of wherever it is stuck, and gets delivered.

You have 30-days past the delivery due date to file an Item-Not-Received claim with eBay.
