Hello all,
Just wanted to see if anyone else is having issues. Recently we noticed few buyer complaints of orders being past the Estimated ETA by eBay. Upon further digging, I noticed eBay is not displaying the correct ETA on listings. We have 3 days handling time plus economy shipping of 1-10 business days activated on listings but still seeing a delivery within 8 days of ordering date on eBay listings. I've tried playing around with all options, changing shipping services extending handling times to no availability.
Have contacted eBay to only say it is a glitch and cannot see why it's happening.
I have 1 listing being tested now where I changed it to 20 business days handling time but still showing october 19 to October 20 handling time which is just not right. Item number: 184354339648
Not sure what to do at this point if someone can help

It is not a glitch. eBay has their own method of estimating the time to deliver.
Of course it does create a problem for the sellers.

Thanks for the reply. I checked one of your listings. You have a 4 business day handling time plus economy shipping but still getting an ETA of before October 13. This is absolutely ridiculous if this is not a glitch

eBay is going by your historical performance to predict the ETA on your listings. If you want eBay to show an ETA according to your handling time, you need to quit breaking your promise of a 3-day handling time and shipping earlier. IOW eBay has calculated your actual handing time, despite any number you've attempted.

How does this post make any sense? My issue is eBay is not showing our real ETA according to the extended handling time. I had 5 business days handling time set plus economy shipping which should be a total of 15 business days but ETA by eBay still shows 9 days from order date. I even raised the handling time to 20 business days and I still see a ETA of 14 days from the order date.
I get account performance and we do not meet our handling time eBay will extend our ETA however this is not the issue that I am having. I'm having the opposite issue as same as the other seller who commented earlier.

This is a known glitch. I have reported it several times. I also have 3 business day handling time and ship via first class and eBay shows buyers "Guaranteed Delivery" dates at checkout incorrectly.
I thought the issue was resolved, but it seems not.
eBay has removed at least 3 negative feedbacks that I received as a result of this glitch as well s several shipping defects that I received due to it and 1 refund was given back to me after customer was awarded a refund from me.
I have several more items that also show the same, but I havent taken user info off of them. I am not uploading them, but they exist and this is not an isolated issue.

Your 30 day handling time on that listing shows me a Nov 20 delivery date to a California zip and Nov 20 - Dec 4 when using a NY zip. I doubt that using that handling time will solve your problem as it will likely deter people from buying at all.
