Sell Item Views

I have noticed numerous times on items I have listed for sale. Then number of views decrease instead of increase. And the items have not renewed; still in the middle of the 30 day period. One items for example, Saturday it had 36 views. Sunday morning it was down to 33 and now it is down to 32. No watchers removed so how does an item get "unviewed"?

No big deal but just baffling. Viewing a listing is not a commitment so to remove a viewing, what is the purpose.

The views on an item are not per each 30 day listing period, but are a rolling 30 days (so the previous 30 days from when you are looking at the number of views). Likely the oldest views are just rolling off that counter.

The other possibility is that they were later identified as being from bots or web crawlers and were removed from the view count.
