will I get a defect from eBay for not shipping an item to Canada in time???

Sold several items to a buyer in Canada.  I cannot ship because of the Canada postal strike which they are still not accepting packages.  I took to the post office and they also said, No we cannot ship it.

Will I get a defect from eBay because of this.  The customer is good with me holding it until the postal problem is resolved.

The Canadian postal strike ended Dec 17 th. So your friend's post office isn't very well informed.

USPS are still not accepting mail destined for Canada. The latest update posted this morning......

Confused.....  as you use terms like I & me in your post yet you are asking for a friend.

BUT YOU will not get defect if your friend can not ship in time.

Your friend should have removed Canada from the listings or used EIS like you did on your listings.
