when you list an item for sale?

I was wondering, do you manually type in the item details, or do you start with the barcode? Does it make a difference? I think it does. Also, the photos section on eBay has really improved.

A few years ago, I'd use the UPC and have Ebay enter the information, but most of it was wrong, so I just enter the information.

Have a great day.

A barcode may refer to the product ,or the shipping number, or an internal code for the shop where it was purchased.

UPC is usually the manufacturer's code and universal.

But if you use the UPC, do read the information in case there is a new (or out of production) product on the market using the same UPC code.
