want return item cause of the battery and it looks like it is overpriced compairing other smartphon

Ebay decided to side with buyer to return item and I HAVE TO PAY FOR POSTAGE. I said no rfunds as well. Could some one explain to me what is going on. I priced this below ebays price suggestions to move a flagship smart phone. It was 4 months old with half the usage. Explained battery is sunjective and he clearly states buyers remorse on price. Price based on other smartphones.

What am I missing? Know it will taking a hit values drop. This was in new condition-what happens if it comes back box not in same shape-earphones used when they were new or things missing or scratches?

Why do I have to pay for shipping now. Why the high fees I am paying and get nothing.

Coild some one help me with these questions?

Appreciated, thnks!

Please veteran sellers I have had the same type of troubles. How do u prove to a middle man " EBAY " U DID WHAT WAS RIGHT AND BUYERS USE THE MONEYBACK GUARANTEE AS GUILTY UNTIL WE PROVE OURSELVES INNOCENT

Mornin Folks,

So many good intentioned sellers misunderstand how ebay operates.

Sadly it is very easy to misunderstand the reason why ebay has options like "no returns" etc if this is really not true. Well I need to give folks a little bit of history.

Ebay has changed tremendously from what it used to be and even more so in the past 3 years.

For many many years ebay understood it's place was more beneficial to be seller centric and as abuses surged by sellers ebay had to do something.

For a while they tried to be neutralists and even spent a lot of energy arbitrating disputes and/or transactions that had gone sour.

Along came new commerce laws that put certain protections in place for consumers (long overdue) so the natural tendency was that since ebay needed to comply with these new laws ebay became buyer centric...nothing wrong with that.

The challenge is the surge of unethical buying activity that it now created (as in the laws)

So now we have ebay, being currently buyer centric, trumping many things in contradiction to what sellers have actually done because of the very metrics put in place by ebay that they have exercised...as in choosing "No Returns". It may seem obvious to some, especially once a dispute arises, that if many of the choices given us as sellers are over ruled then why have them...but the reality is they are there and sellers must learn to navigate these paradoxes, use them to their benefit in the sense of not being manipulated or scammed.

I wish that ebay did a better job of preparing new sellers for the new realities of selling here. Learning by trial an error is hard enough without having to loose money and "pay" for the experience on top of it.

You have enough tech items in your sold history over the last year or more to know that there is no such thing as no returns. I can't answer your question since I don't really know what it is. If you ask specific questions, we can help with better answers.

I won't go off on an unrelated tangent though.
