view counts...errmmm....not making sense.

I list new auctions at 3pm PT every Sunday...I get about seven views within the first minute...my buyers let me know they tune in first thing...they like to read my listings....now there's ZERO views!  And yet.....apparently there HAVE been viewers because now I have no views but one watcher???  LOL!!  Something smells awfully fishy to me...another ridiculous change, eBay.   Just sayin'

You can watch a listing from the search screen without clicking into the listing itself.

It's clicking into the listing which creates a 'view'.

You do know that little 'heart' in search view adds an item to your watchlist without viewing it....

those seven "instant" views before this adjustment are probably the bots that people use to watch for new listings......

Don't worry about views. Ebay made a change and things are a little wonky right now with the counter. If someone wants your stuff they can still see it, and if they really want your stuff they will buy it.
