This is the new process and there's a link on this page to cancel the order.

It's automatic now. Takes sellers one day less to relist and pays the buyer deadbeat an Unpaid Item Strike.

Sellers don't need to open unpaid cases any longer. If they don't  pay by 4 days cancel. eBay takes care of them.

It's only automatic if that's how a seller sets their preferences. Just like the old UPI process, you can choose to handle things manually.

If/when a buyer has not paid after 4 days, eBay will, on the 5th day, cancel the transaction, refund your FVF, and give that buyer a strike.

When a buyer hadn't paid within 4 days, eBay will automatically cancel the transaction.
