I was gone for about a month and when I got back with many, many iterations of the same hardware (such as npt to barb hose fittings) I cannot figure out how to set up from scratch the BIN using variables. Any help would be appreciated.
As an alternative, using an existing variable listing and modifying it to my needs is also an option.
TY in advance, Howard

That is a very good video, and it covers a lot. It is definitely worth promoting. Thanks for posting the link.

I will also point to this tutorial that will cover some of the other gotchas that should be planned for ahead of time:

When considering pipe/hose fittings, it seems you could create variations that describe the fitting size(s) within a group that defines both ends of the adapter. You will have to decide which will be your prominent attribute and apply variations of that. Take some time to consider the grouping. It would seem that your photos would be based on the types of adapter ends and that "NPT to barb" (etc) would be the defining attribute for photos, while diameter would be a second attribute; but if a reducer is part of the fitting, you may need more attributes.
You can indeed find a listing that is similar to what you want to create and sell one like that. However, the warnings posted in the video are valid. I usually wipe out all the prefilled item specifics and start from scratch when posting a variation.
