so fed up with ebay....

I have reached out to three different representatives in the last 2 days, and there has been no solution to my problems.  As of this week, my auctions have somehow changed to no shipping options and local pick ups.  I have people who won these auctions and I will not honor anything that has finished this week.  Please advise on the next step.

Though you have not said , I am assuming you have set up your listing properly and chosen your shipping options when you listed these items? or did you find a similar item listing and clicked on the (do you one to sell feature)? if you did then you automatically carry over the items listed features selected buy that seller. you have to go into your selling page and select that item of yours edit function to make the changes you want.  here is a link to one of your items that states shipping has NOT been specified">    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Nike-Swoosh-SPELL-OUT-Fleece-Hoodie-Sweater-Size-Men-s-large/163745...

Hi, just to clarify, we are fellow buyers and sellers on this forum. You cannot reach customer service here. However, you can use eBay’s Facebook or Twitter to connect with a CSR.

Forum members can assist you if you want. How many auctions are you experiencing with this problem? I see you offer Free Shipping on some of your listings. If you don’t need to collect shipping funds on some of the sold listings, i would contact the buyer(s) and mail the items rather than cancel transactions.

I am a veteran seller, and all shipping options were preselected.  Some of these have been relisted several times already with shipping preselected.  I spoke to one representative, who confirmed this happened to someone else as well.

I noticed recently on some of another seller's items that they were available for local pickup only, which makes absolutely no sense for the items he or she sells. They are all lightweight (about 4 oz.) that typically ship First Class Package, and the seller ships worldwide or nearly so.

Did you tell the rep that you need a resolution not a confirmation.

I was told a call back will be given, as of now there has been none.

The same exact thing happened to my sister's account, when she tried to take off local shipping it still didn't fix the problem. No one could buy the item, because supposedly no shipping was set up. She had two options listed originally. She just had to go in and raise her prices and offer free shipping.

I meant local pick-up not local shipping...

Don't hold your breath, unless you look good in dusky blue.

I've read, of late, that ebay is going to a 2 shipping option (to avoid buyer confusion) on the listings.  Perhaps you are now 'in' and the options you had listed aren't on the approved list.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

Well, that's what they said (so it must be true).  Smiley Surprised

I can't find the article I read, but here is one thread referring to it:

What EXACT shipping options (that disappeared) were offered in the listings?

Weight and dimensions and an item number for one would also help.

What do you see if you do begin a "sell similar" on one of them? Are the options that are supposed to be there present in the sell similar on the listing form?

I see "shipping not specified" in the search results for those items of yours and they all look to be auctions.

The listings have an invalid zipcode error in the shipping section.

I've seen mention of that error popping up again in the forums here the last day or so, but what I read was mostly incoherent and no clear picture of what is occurring was evident to me.

That type of zipcode error has popped up in the past - one thing that causes it is the use of FedEx Smartpost for items with dimensions that exceed the second of 4 non-machinable criteria but doubt that's your issue.

Do you/did you use calculated or flat rate ship price? Just thinking out loud.

Most of the items were simply set with flat rate envelope as their only option. I had a case on one of the items weeks before, and it had this option, nonetheless, this week it does not.

Some of the buyer's heads already exploded due to the error.
